Three Extended Weekends
Of Chamber Music On The
Shores Of Southampton,
Long Island

The Southampton Chamber Music Festival, is proud to announce its exciting third season of chamber music workshops. The festival will be held at Long Island University's Southampton College Campus, located just minutes from beautiful ocean beaches and the village of Southampton.

Pianists, instrumentalists and singers are welcome. Great care is given to placing players with colleagues of similar ability. Participants are assigned music (with their approval) before arriving at the festival. Once there, each group receives daily coaching on their assigned music. At the end of the weekend, participants play for each other in a supportive concert setting.

Regardless of their playing level, all groups receive the same care and dedication from the coaches. Our goal is for each person to play as beautifully as his/her skill permits. For this reason, coaches are chosen for their teaching experience and dedication, as well as for their playing ability.

In addition to playing music, participants can enjoy full use of Southampton College. This includes access to the tennis courts, swimming pool and gym facilities. There is also a free shuttle bus that leaves hourly for the town of Southampton and the ocean.
