Chamber Music Workshop
This summer, spend 2 glorious weeks on the Greek islands, playing chamber music to your heart's content, swimming, sightseeing, meeting local musicians, residents and tourists. In the mornings, play chamber music. In the afternoons sightsee, shop, swim and relax. In the evenings activities include more music making, cafe visiting, dining, discos, and cultural events. Non-playing friends and family are welcome to come and enjoy all the experiences and facilities, pending space availability.

ITINERARY
DAY 1 Arrival in Athens. Day free. Evening meeting and music introduction. Group dinner.
DAY 2 Morning music. Optional tour of Athens, including the Acropolis. Late afternoon departure to Piraeas, port of Athens. Overnight cruise to Crete. Check into cabins. Dinner on your own on board.
DAY 3 Morning arrival in Hania, Crete. Breakfast on your own. Check into hotel. After check-in chamber music session in hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Evening optional music session. Dinner on your own.
DAY 4 Optional all day excursion to Sfakia, on the south coast of Crete. Lunch. Return by 6PM. No musical activities today.
DAY 5 Morning music. Afternoon at leisure. Optional evening music.
DAY 6 Morning departure to Lassithi, the plain of central Crete. Optional tour to Cave of Zeus and Knossos, ancient Minoan civilization. Check into hotel in Heraklion in evening. No musical activities today.
DAY 7 Morning transfer to boat for trip to Santorini. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Rest of day at leisure. Evening orientation, music, and dinner.
DAY 8 Morning music sessions. Afternoon optional excursions. Evening at leisure.
DAYS 9, 10, 11 Same as day 8
DAY 12 Morning music. Afternoon departure to Athens by boat. Evening dinner in Athens. Overnight in Athens.
DAY 13 Departure to home destinations.

Richard B. Epstein, Executive Director of International Travel Services has arranged concert, athletic, archeological and cultural tours, and chamber music workshops since 1982. He has brought groups to Greece, Italy, Israel, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Morocco, Ireland, Scotland and Cyprus. Clients include the International Chamber Orchestra of New York, Friends of the New York Philharmonic, Friends of Tel Aviv University, Convent of the Sacred Heart, Brandeis University Men's and Women's Basketball Teams. Mr. Epstein is a cellist, educator, and tour leader. He will be the leader and a participant on the 1999 tour.
GENERAL CONDITIONS AND INFORMATION
Deposits and Payments
A deposit of $300 per person per trip is required to hold reservations. Full payment is due without further notice 45 days prior to departure. Late bookings, received 21 days or less prior to departure, require a telecommunications surcharge of $50 per booking. Your canceled check will serve as your receipt for payment. No refunds will be made for any unused services. All prices are based on current tariffs and currency exchange rates in effect at the time of this printing (March 1,1999). Musicians International, Music International Travel Service, ICONY, and Richard B. Epstein cannot be held responsible for unexpected rises in costs for air or land arrangements which are not under its direct control. Any deposit will represent an acceptance of the above-mentioned conditions.
Baggage
Limited to two (2) pieces of average-size luggage not exceeding 44 lbs., plus your instrument.
Documents
A valid U.S. Passport is required. Final travel documents, tickets, etc., will be delivered at the airport immediately prior to departure upon presentation of proof of identity and U.S. Citizenship or compliance with local entrance requirements for non U.S. Citizens.
Personal Items
Passport fees and all expenses of a personal nature such as telephone calls, laundry, beverages, etc., are not included.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing to Musicians International and are subject to fee of $150 per person for administrative expenses. Cancellations received 35 days or less prior to departure will be subject to such cable, hotel, boat, or airline charges as apply in addition to the fee of $150. Cancellations 14 days or less up to and including the day of departure will be subject to fees imposed by airline, bus, hotels, boat companies and tour operators.
Insurance
Trip cancellation insurance and loss of baggage, personal effects, accident and sickness insurance are highly recommended. No liabilities will be accepted for personal injuries.
Responsibility
Musicians International, Music International Travel Services, ICONY, and Richard B. Epstein and/or their representatives act only as agents for the purveyors of any of the components of these tours. They can neither accept responsibility nor assume liability for the performance and/or delivery of services, transportation or accommodations by the purveyors. It will not accept responsibility for extra cost due to delays, changes or any other reasons. Nor will responsibility be accepted for any consular, political, or military complications created voluntarily or involuntarily by the passengers or any other persons. Musicians International reserves the right to change itinerary, hotels and/or services without notice when in the sole exercise of its discretion same may be advisable and such modification substituted with comparable accommodation or other item of equal value. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or to retain any person and to change or cancel the tours, if necessary, for any reasons. The passage contract in use by the airlines, when issued, shall be the sole contract between airlines and passenger. Airline and/or boat company terms and conditions, if any, are expressly incorporated and made part hereof. They are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event when passengers are not aboard craft.
