As a result of the tremendous success of the MSQ's KentMusic program and last year's Op. 59 workshops and responding to a demand for more of a similar kind of experience during the year, we are offering these workshops, open to all players (amateur, student and professional), who desire an opportunity to look in depth at these marvelous middle quartets.
This year we are concluding our look at Beethoven's Middle Quartets.
Pre-formed quartets are encouraged to apply.

THE WORKSHOP WILL INVOLVE:

• one-on-one coaching in quartet format
• open rehearsal/discussion by MSQ where issues relating to performance and preparation of the quartet will be discussed
• a talk by David Clampitt, Musicologist, Yale University, on historical and theoretical aspects of the works
• a performance of each work by the MSQ
